Anxious to see what this season brings in the way of flowers. Winter has been snowy again and I anticipate putting in a lot of new bulbs to replace ones lost in the winter of 2002. January 2004 - What a cold January. Temps in single digit and below freezing wind chills. February 2004 March 2004 - Ranunculus, melanostachys (black pussy willow) and the palms 2004 uncovered! April 2004 - Quite a rainy spring again, but the tulips sure look happy even on a cloudy day. I also had success with the wisteria that was split during the Hurricane, this is the first year to be full of blossoms! May 2004 - Lots to show off this time of year, parrot tulips and more wisteria pics. June 2004 - Some rain, but lots of beautiful, sunny and breezy days toward the end of the month. July 2004 - Glads starting to bloom, and trumpet vine for first time. Hot, humid weather is getting old! Fall Gardens - Mulching - Didn't take a lot of photos, but the garden sure looks fabulous with it's blanket of mulch. The vigna caracalla is also getting ready to bloom although already inside. |
